Producer

I was inspired to start farming from many different influences in my life. My farm, Ralph's Ranch, is named after my 91 year old grandfather, Ralph Jenner. He has been in Oklahoma his entire life, farming and ranching since the Great Depression. I like to think I embody his hard work ethic, determination, and adventurous spirit. Another inspiration is my love for community building. As a queer person, Oklahoma has proven to be a rather harsh environment in some ways, so my hope is that by creating a welcome, safe, and peaceful space I can help usher in young, queer, and passionate people into the local farming culture. I am also a firm believer that anyone can farm and that by showing people through example they are capable, we can work together to provide our city with affordable, delicious, healthy fresh produce.
