At Crow Farms (Father Ricky, mother Claudia, son Brandon, daughter in law Carra, grandson Owen, and granddaughter Lillian) we have approximately 50 acres in fruit & vegetable production along with 150 acres in alfalfa and Bermuda grass hay. This is the same land that my great grandfather and grandfather farmed on. We also operate 5 greenhouses and 2 high tunnels where hydroponic tomatoes, bedding plants, herbs and vegetable transplants are grown. We farm year round and grow a wide variety of fruit and vegetable crops. From asparagus, broccoli and cauliflower in the spring to summer crops like onions, potatoes, squash, tomatoes, peppers, okra, green beans, sweet corn, melons, and then sweet potatoes and pumpkins in the fall, we grow about anything you could think of. We operate two farm markets. One is just down the road from our farm in Earlsboro and another in downtown Shawnee. My and my wife’s parents started selling at farmers markets in the late 80’s and now my wife and I continue that tradition today. I sell at the Scissortail Park Market while my wife Carra sells at the Edmond Market.
